Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival
One of Japan’s largest cosplay events where more than 10,000 cosplayers gather from home and abroad
“Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival” which will be held for the 4th time is Japan’s largest cosplay event where more than 10,000 cosplayers gather from Japan and abroad every year.
Until last time, it was held in the Ikebukuro east exit area centering on “Otome Road” which is the leading place in otaku (geek) culture, but this year the Minami-Ikebukuro Park is also added to the venue and the area is expanded considerably. The lawn spreads in the park, and photography with various angles is possible.
In addition to the events such as the show at the main stage and the photo session of the popular cosplayers, the cosplay parade will be held for the first time this year. In order to participate in the parade it is necessary to apply in advance.
