Large-scale retrospective exhibition, “DAVID BOWIE is” that summarizes the world view created by David Bowie and his 50 year creativity. This exhibition started in London in 2013, has traveled around nine cities in the world, and landed in Japan, which is the only venue in Asia.

More than 300 items such as handwritten sketches, memos, costumes, pictures, and images are carefully selected from the 75,000 items owned by David Bowie Archive.

David Bowie, an extraordinary artist who continues to give great inspiration to art, fashion, culture, society, beyond the boundaries of musicians. He changed his style with the times and has always kept surprising the world. It is a experiential exhibition that encompasses such a career and enjoying listening to music and interviews with headsets.

As an original exhibition only in Japan, an interview with Kitano Takeshi and Sakamoto Ryuichi, co-stars of the movie “Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence” will be screened.
