Since its founding in 1885, through the funding of the leading authors of the automotive industry, Detroit Institute of Arts has grown as a museum, which boasts a collection of the world’s leading. The opportunity the financial collapse of the Detroit City in 2013, the possibility of the collection sold for the purpose of securing financial resources of the city has been rumored. However, cooperation from internal and external country, and by the voice of Detroit citizens, works are also popular as a rest & learning opportunities for citizens currently without being lost every works.

Overcome the crisis, masterpieces of Impressionism that forms the core of museum collection, Post-Impressionism, Germany and France of the 20th century, and including the first published 15 works in Japan, totally all 52 works selection will be exhibited.
