This year, the main festival is held once in four years

Kameido Tenjin Shrine enshrined Sugawara Michizane as the god of learning, it is said that there is a divine favor for the students.

The main festival of the shrine held every four years, and in 2018 the main festival is held.
On August 25, a parade of Horen (palanquin), which enshrined Sugawara Michizane, will be held. In addition, “Kentomyo” that is decorating more than 1,000 votive lighted lanterns, and “Takigi-Kagura” that is torch-lighted Shinto dance will be held.
