About 150 cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Tokyo Midtown Enjoy the cherry blossom viewing
There are about 150 cherry blossoms in Tokyo Midtown and adjacent Hinokicho Park, including 48 Yoshino cherries inherited from the former Defense Agency, and they will be in full bloom from late March to mid April.
“MIDTOWN BLOSSOM 2017” will be held from March 17th to April 16th, 2017.
During the event period, the cherry blossoms on Sakura-dori Street will be lit up with colors matching the flowering conditions.
Also, in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of Tokyo Midtown’s opening, monument of Mt. Fuji, which is about 6 meters high and about 23 meters wide, will appear on the Grass Square. The monument is produced by “plant hunter” Nishihata Seijun. You can enjoy projection mapping which “NAKED Inc.” handles from 17th March to 16th April night.
