Light-up will be held to celebrate the 40th holding of plum Festival

“Setagaya Plum Festival” held at Hanegi Park will be celebrating 40th this year.

650 red and white plums are planted in the park and it is one of the best plum places in Tokyo.

On Saturdays and Sundays during the event period, various events such as tea ceremony, nodate, mochi pounding and Japanese musical instruments are performed. Also, as a celebration of the 40th plum Festival, plums are lighted up from February 17th to 19th and February 24th to 26th.

*Matcha service will be held on February 18, February 25 and March 4.
It is held seven times from 10:00 each day, and in order to participate, it is necessary to receive a numbered ticket to be distributed on the day.
