Plum Festival to be held at Hanegi Park where 650 red and white plums bloom

The 43rd “Setagaya Ume Matsuri (Plum Festival)” will be held at Hanegi Park from February 8 to March 1, 2020.
Hanegi Park is known as one of the best places in Tokyo to view plum blossoms. The park has a total of 650 white and red plum trees.
Various events will be held on weekends and holidays during the event period, such as tea ceremony, nodate, mochi-tsuki (pounding rice cakes) and Japanese instrument performance.
