Setagaya Ume Matsuri (Plum Festival)
Plum Festival to be held at Hanegi Park where 650 red and white plums bloom
“Setagaya Ume Matsuri (Plum Festival)” held at Hanegi Park will be the 41st time this year.
650 red and white plums are planted in the park and it is one of the best plum places in Tokyo.
Various events will be held on weekends and holidays during the festival period, such as tea ceremony, nodate, mochi-tsuki (pounding rice cakes) and Japanese instrument performance.
