Showa Kinen Park boasting a large area of 180 hectare in total (nearly equal to Tokyo Dome about 39 pieces) constructed at the site of the Tachikawa airfield. There are various leisure facilities in the large garden, and many events are held.

31 kinds of cherry trees including the Somei Yoshino and the Yamazakura, 1500 cherry blossoms are in full bloom one after another.

“Cherry Blossom Garden” is famous not only for the beauty of 200 cherry blossoms but also for enjoying cherry blossoms and canola flowers at the same time if the flowering seasons overlap.
