Night View x Projection Mapping x Planetarium
In the heart of Tokyo at night, it will be held “STARRYSKY ILLUMINATION” that starry sky of the realistic and the virtual is co-starring in the Roppongi Hills Tokyo City View observation deck. The period is greatly extended this year, you can enjoy a long winter night sky.
16 windows of the observatory are huge screen in the projection mapping to manipulate stars of the night sky by smartphone, add a new gimmick it’s version-up than last year.Shinkai Makoto movies such as big hit movie “Your Name. (Kimi no Na wa.)”, there is also a special collaboration where one scene revives over the night sky.
Planetarium is supervised by Takayuki Ohira who has created MEGASTAR, to expand the implementation area than last year, you can enjoy “3D SKY WALK” to feel walking in the universe.
In addition, monthly Roppongi astronomy club “starry sky observation society” that has been held in the fourth Friday, it will be especially held every Saturday during the event.
