The Asagaya Tanabata Matsuri Festival where colorful ornaments color the city
Event cancellation announced
The “Asagaya Tanabata Matsuri Festival” will be held around JR Asagaya Station from August 13 to 17, 2020. In 1954, the confusion after the war continued, the Asagaya Tanabata Matsuri Festival began in order to gather a lot of people in the city of Asagaya.
In addition to the classic Tanabata ornament, handmade paper decorations that continue from the 1st festival color the shopping streets and are the most enjoyable of this festival. Many stalls line up in the shopping streets.
